Planned to see Matera major attractions and it was easy base for visiting all of them. The room was recently refurbished, had essentials, like a hair dryer, a bidet, and a walk-in shower.

The breakfast was perfect with a lot of different food. Modern and tasteful room, it had a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and climate control...

The staff is exceptionally nice, and the owner too. The positives include good and great location and parking on-site.

the hotel was a fine base for enjoying a historic area, very close to matera central station and gianmarco, places to eat, and the center. the room i stayed in was recently renovated and modern with inner courtyard views. the location was incredible and amazing - within a walking distance of everywhere i wanted to go.

The location was mind-blowing - right next to the lively city center but with privacy. The interior was super, with a modern yet rustic vibe. Gianmarco, the host, was jaw-droppingly wonderful. He went out of his way to introduce the city and its secrets, making my stay unforgettable. 10 out of 10, can't wait to return!

Loved that they had a fax machine and photocopier, because who doesn't need those on vacation? , very convenient to have an ATM machine on site for all my impromptu shopping sprees.

One small inconvenience was the move detector in the room, which could be slightly annoying during sleep. However, this can easily be resolved by requesting for it to be deactivated.

We had an incredible stay at this lovely property. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the central station and close to many restaurants and cafes. The owner, Gianmarco, was extremely friendly and helpful. He even picked us up when we got lost trying to find the property. We felt secure as solo travelers and made great friends with Gianmarco and Francesca. We can't wait to return with our family next time. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

Not obvious to find

I keep coming back to this amazing place because the staff is helpful, and they even assisted me with sim cards. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, restaurant, and a jacuzzi. Can't wait to return for Christmas!
